Waiting for the Happy Slam!
It seems this year we have to wait at least a week for the stunning light jumps on your dark european [or american] room, while you're trying to watch, fighting with your sleep, Australian Open, the very Happy Slam -at lest at the beginning!- .
Because of all that rain and floods, especially in the Queensland region, we have the usual, unique Roger Federer organizing a new "Rally for Relief", that is going to be on Sunday, at 2 p.m. local time. Yes, it's still damn deep night in Europe! But.. wait: Federer, Nadal, Hewitt, Cljisters, Stosur, Djokovic, Pat Rafter [geeeez, he's still so HOT!]. Where is Pandy? Maybe Roger didn't call him? If it went this way... FAIL!
And WTF Muzza (PPPRRRRR) is going to be there? He doesn't know how an exho is supposed to be played. Very good idea Roger, but it's going to be boring, I tell you.
So we can start to get the panic for the Draw, that will be done in 7 hours; sure, not before Mats Wilander makes his picks. I always feel fucking serene when I see him explaining the reasons of his predictions. I start to think about stupidity that is always where it is supposed to be and the world seems to have its usual run.
So Nalbandian and Del Potro are the real main threats for top-players at first rounds. Juan Martin is far away from his best, after a year of no-tennis. But hey, he won a Slam less than 2 years ago. A target Andy Murray didn't reach yet, for example [always sooo good to remind it].
And David, El Rey David, can beat anyone, we know. Especially if the warm is lacking there. So David, go on the right side, sweetheart.
The most scaring fact is, with Soderling as 4th seed, Murray, Djokovic, Davydenko and Del Potro/Nalbandian can be -together- in the same side of the draw. Federer or Nadal, to be clear, could have this lovely draw, in 7 hours. Funny... NOT.
Bet who will have the luck.
Keep praying guys and.. let the sunshine coming out, damn weather!
